The Canadian Army Veteran Motorcycle Units (CAV MU) is a motorcycle club, with the focus to be an organized association of military veteran motorcycle riders.
The CAV-VAC MU is composed of thousands of Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Air Force and Royal Canadian Navy veterans and still serving members of the Canadian Forces, as well as veteran motorcycle enthusiasts from the UK, Australia and US. Many members have served in regiments, bases and ships both in Canada and in overseas theatres of operations.
The CAV MU attempts to maintain the values of uniformed service; those of integrity, legitimacy, honour and strength in their veteran's duties to their community, and to keep alive the bonds formed during their military service.
CAV members ride motorcycles of different types, including cruisers, baggers, choppers, sport bikes, tricycles (more commonly referred to as trikes), touring motorcycles, and dual-sport and enduro.
The Canadian Army Veteran Motorcycle Units (CAV) is a motorcycle club founded in 2003 by Canadian military veterans and serving members. The club's mission is to provide a social and recreational outlet for veterans, while also promoting public awareness and understanding of the sacrifices made by military personnel. The CAV is open to any veteran of the Canadian military, as well as serving members and their families. The club participates in a range of activities, from charity rides and parades to remembrance events and motorcycle rallies. What makes the CAV special is its strong sense of brotherhood and camaraderie, rooted in the shared experience of military service. The club is also known for its dedication to helping veterans in need, both through its charitable activities and its efforts to provide support and resources for veterans struggling with physical or mental health issues. The Canadian Army Veteran Motorcycle Units is a valuable and meaningful community for Canadian military veterans and their families, providing a supportive and welcoming environment where they can connect, ride, and serve.
